Ring
and Grounds Scheduled Activities Use of our rings and grounds is limited to current RHPC members and current subscribers, also known as "ring key holders". Use of our rings and grounds are guided by the Radnor Hunt Pony Club Subscriber Policy. To see the detailed schedule of activities designated for the Radnor Hunt Pony Club ring and grounds, please see our calendar. Any activity with a location of "RHPC" indicates that the ring and/or grounds are committed and therefore not available. The general principle is that everyone shares the rings. No one can "book" a ring for their private lesson or practice. However, organized pony club activities such as rally practices or clinics deserve the full attention of the participants and full access to the rings. We also share the jumps. Since different horses and ponies are of different sizes, and riders and trainers may have specific training objectives, it is understandable that jumps may be moved and courses may be changed. Please be considerate and be certain to replace trotting poles back onto the standards, or at least on the side of the ring, and jump cups onto the standard and not the ground. We do rent the facilities to outside organizers of horse shows. They are permitted access to the grounds to set up on the day preceding their horse show providing that they do not interfere with the activities of the Pony Clubbers or Ring Key Subscribers. Remember that the horse show organizers have lots to do and the more they can get done in advance the easier it is for them. They have exclusive use of the rings after 5PM on the day preceding and for the full day of their horse show. Cooperation and consideration of others has worked in the past. If anyone has any questions please contact Mrs. Petrauskas.
